²Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Göz Hastalıkları A.D., Aydın, Prof. Dr. Angioid streaks are irregular breaks in the Bruch’s membrane and they predispose to the development of choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM), which carries a poor visual prognosis. We report the successful treatment of a 51-year-old woman with CNVM secondary to angioid streak in the right eye who received two doses of intravitreal bevacizumab injections with a one-month interval. Rapid regression of CNVM was observed after the injections. After two months, her visual acuity improved from 0.4 to 1.0 and remained at this level for 10 months. Intravitreal bevacizumab injection will be a promising and primarily applied treatment option for such cases in the future. Keywords : Angioid streak, bevacizumab, choroidal neovascular membrane
