ATYPICAL COMPLICATIONS RELATED TO THE SIMULTANEOUSLY PERFORMED FLUORESCEIN AND INDOCYANINE GREEN ANGIOGRAPHIES
Başkent Ü.Tıp Fak.Göz Hastalıkları ABD
Fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green (ICG) angiography techniques have been used in the diagnosis of choroidal and retinal diseases. Several side effects related to the intravenous injection of fluorescein and indocyanine green dyes were presented before. With the frequent usage of ICG angiography in recent years, simultaneous FFA and ICG angiography became popular. Atypical complications other than the classical side effects of intraveous flourescein injection like nausea, vomiting and hypotension can be observed during simultaneous FFA and ICG angiography. We present the atypical complications observed during simultaneous FFA and ICG angiography in our clinic.
