Bilateral Optic Neuropathy due to Electrical Injury

Our aim is to present a case who showed a rare complication, bilateral optic neuropathy in both eyes due to electrical injury of (city) regular-voltage. A 5 year-old boy was referred to our clinic that complaint with a lacking of follow-up object in both eyes. The child contacted with electrical plug, playing with his friend at home. He was hospitalized due to burns in upper extremities, unconsciousness, and recurrent seizures for one year ago. On his examination, slight lens opacities and bilateral pale optic discs in fundus were detected.
