1Başkent Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı2H.Ü.Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları ABD Ocular involvement is seen in 22-27% of patients with sarcoidosis, a multisystem granulomatous disease with unidentified etiology. Nearly all ocular tissues can be involved, with anterior granulomatous uveitis being the most common finding. Macular damage and glaucoma due to uveitis are the main causes of permanent visual loss. For early diagnosis and treatment, the systemic findings should also be well known by the ophthalmologists. In this article, pathogenesis, pathology, systemic and ocular findings, diagnostic methods and treatment options of sarcoidosis are reviewed with the emphasis on the recent studies. Keywords : Sarcoidosis, granulomatous uveitis, vasculitis, cystoid macular edema, glaucoma
