Abnormal Branching Pattern of Retinal Arteries in Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy

In this report, we present a patient with retinal artery branching anomaly in which each inferior temporal artery had a large branch passing around the fovea to supply the superior temporal quadrant, and 11778 mutation revealed the diagnosis of LHON. This abnormal pattern of the retinal arteries has not been reported in LHON before. Keywords : Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy, retinal arterial branching abnormalities
